Counting my blessings.

Peaceful face vs angry face ... A thank you note.

                I wrote this the other night while reflecting how blessed I am to have the loving calm husband I do. Even in approaching me in the best light available I DO get the best of him (sometimes.) I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the kind deeds that have been done for and too me, in my literal harsh face and unkind words. I stand humbled by my own ignorance and challenged with love to rise a fallen fighter. 

               To walk away from a battle to fight another day is the key being able to talk your self down and out of life's many negative feelings, emotions and expressions. Amazed by the resilience in people (specifically my husband) I am constantly put in place, my ego hurts and I must learn. It's so silly I must be a foolish heart and fumble into wisdom. 

            I don't always get the lesson immediately but eventually will, and now inline with the power that I have always known to be true within me in place by the creator I am going to energize some affirmations for my family long and short term. 

* we as a family will walk in the freedom of God's peace that exists in us guiding us to safe and loving shores.

* as a married couple my husband and I will embrace the joy of each other presently moment to moment and express calmly differences and learnd that that is the key to real love.

* may my whole family (and in fact their families & so on) fall head first in love with life, being happy like the youth, becoming strong like eagles, magnificent with the wind under wing soaring in the great expanse.

* I will be the Chang sand peace I want to see starting now

* we will accomplish what we need when we need with ease and lovely restful peace. Jesus bless this home and those that rest in it tonight and forevermore. Amen.

Overcome

           All feel the wear and tear of life. Dragging feet, kicking legs, and screaming vocal chords all composing the same symphony that in the end says "hell no we won't go" and "let us be free." We all want the same basic things in life such as food, water, shelter, love,... a shot of tequila, you know the basics.
            Not being given basic needs freely or having to work tremendously hard creates people that our world needs. People who take the long road and not the easy way out. It is the easy way that has led us down the path that we walk today. A road littered to the brim with throw always not throw backs. Filled with advertisements and not directions to destinations. It's filled with plastic grapes instead of real fruit, and in this we will have to raise up many generations of people who will have to overcome more than a few eras of selfish stupidity.
          The importance of raising people who will overcome obstacles and remain true to who they are will be one of the greatest gifts to humanity in the face of the future and the events of earth. Therefor in your time, place, and existence be sure to, with compassion, take the long way and encourage others to do so. Or as the old world fades know you could have changed even just a bit with the path you chose. Peace ~ love
